My Background

TRUST is the foundation of my efforts and from that starting point, great things manifest. As an HR Professional, I work closely with leaders, managers and employees across all levels of the organization to reinforce a culture of inclusion, active caring, world class listening, innovation, collaboration, career development, high performance and employee engagement. 


From a young age, I’ve always had a sense of motivation and passion driving me forward. Whether it’s learning additional skills, or meeting new people, I bring these values to every experience throughout my life on a personal and professional level.

January 2021 - Current

Suffolk Construction
Director, People & Culture

A strategic partner to the senior leadership team and build strong relationships with our field operations teams.


A trusted advisor, coaching business leadership on leadership effectiveness and performance.


I drive the annual performance management process for the West Region Operations teams.

I effectively use influence and negotiation strategies to secure support from stakeholders for support of key initiatives.

In line with Suffolk’s vision and strategic priorities, I drive employee engagement and ensure a collaborative workforce based on shared goals and accountability.

I lead employee relations resolutions, minimizing risk to the organization by actively responding to and addressing employee concerns in a timely, cost-efficient manner.

I conduct complete investigations and make recommendations based on findings/facts, partnering with HR leadership and legal counsel.

I lead and manage change across client groups to influence organizational culture. Implement change programs as business needs dictate.

I oversee annual compensation planning process in partnership with our compensation team and regional leadership, ensuring highest performers are compensated in line with their business impact and contributions.

Be a D&I champion for the region in partnership with the D&I team.
Partner with P&C colleagues to instill a culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and transparency among the P&C team.

In partnership with the learning & development team, identify training needs, drive professional development initiatives, and ensure compliance with mandatory training.

Human Resources Business Partner

My collaboration with all levels of management helped to build relationships by establishing trust, demonstrating credibility and adding value quickly. I coached managers and employees to communicate effectively and share feedback openly, including in challenging situations. Working closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships, strengthen company culture, and increase productivity and retention was my WHY.

Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues is my strong suit.  I also establish repeatable processes that contribute to best practices for the company.

​

I conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations by maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. My partnership with the legal department is ideal for ensuring compliance consistently.

Held titles:  Estimating Coordinator, Executive Assistant, Regional HR Coordinator (SCAL Region), Senior HR Coordinator before being promoted to HR Business Partner.

Managed Request for Information (RFI) distribution, submittal distribution, tracking, organization, support of 16 member team, calendaring, scheduling, travel, client relationship building, business development support, and office management.

HR Support: I-9 processing, new hire onboarding.

February 2004 - June 2011

American Tower Corporation

Project Specialist

Assisted the Project Manager in ordering environmental services such as National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Phase I and State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) studies.

Assisted the Legal department in ordering titles and easements and ensured that closeout and document upload process was followed by maintaining document upload analysis and error.

Coordinated construction walks between contractors and American Tower field personnel through the creation of task tickets through the internal Job Dispatch ticketing system.

Maintained the New Tower Development Support inbox and all corresponding backup folders while uploading and auditing all documentation related to the development of new tower sites to OASIS.

​

Held Titles:  Time Entry Specialist and Project Administrator prior to being promoted to Project Specialist (New Tower Development).
